Dynamic caching is our full-page caching technology, one of the most effective ways to speed up your site. We’ve given that advantage to all our hosting plans by activating the Dynamic cache by default on all servers. Since its launch, we have started to see between 50% and 500% faster sites on our platform!

Faster MySQL queries on our servers

We recently launched a new one-of-a-kind MySQL setup on our servers, which allows a much higher number of parallel requests to be processed simultaneously. This innovative solution comes in extremely handy for websites that handle heavy databases with products or catalogues, for example. After the new MySQL setup launch, we saw a drop in slow queries between 10 and 20 times. Those numbers directly translate into faster processing of MySQL queries thus faster website speed. 

Enhanced Website Compression for Faster Websites with Brotli

Another technology, which we recently deployed and enabled by default for SiteGround clients, is the next-generation compression algorithm Brotli. Google develops Brotli as a successor to the popular gzip method. As a result, websites hosted at SiteGround could get up to 15-20% speed gains from using it. 

Significant Boost of Speed with our Unique UltraFastPHP

One of the essentials for a fast loading speed is your host’s underlying PHP setup. Our DevOps team developed a new ultrafast yet super secure PHP setup – the UltraFast PHP. It has proven to add 30% more performance to websites hosting at SiteGround and is now available not only on our GoGeek and Cloud plans but also on GrowBig.
